Obama's Clock

I got the following email the other day and I thought it was so funny. Enjoy!

A man died and went to heaven. As he stood in front of St. Peter at the Pearly Gates, he saw a huge wall of clocks behind him. He asked, 'What are all those clocks?' St. Peter answered, 'Those are Lie-Clocks. Everyone on Earth has a Lie-Clock. Every time you lie the hands on your clock will move. 'Oh,' said the man, 'whose clock is that? ''That's Mother Teresa's. The hands have never moved, indicating that she never told a lie.' 'Incredible,' said the man. 'And whose clock is that one?' St. Peter responded, 'That's Abraham Lincoln's=2 0clock. The hands have moved twice, telling us that Abe told only two lies in his entire life.'Where's Senator Obama's clock?' asked the man. 'Obama's clock is in Jesus' office. He's using it as a ceiling fan.

Let me add that I think just about every politician out there has told more than his/her fair share of lies, but since this joke highlighted Obama I loved it!!!

Emily-
I love that Clay has been repeating my joke... that makes me feel special. Granted I would probably screw it up if I told it. I would have to read it to get it straight and then it wouldn't be as funny!
Lauren-
I had a feeling that you and Joel might not see the humor in my joke. Also, thanks for helping me w/ the blog background. I love it!!
Meghan-
I love ya too!

Haha, I heard this like 5 years ago about Bush, but I admit it pretty funny to insert a new name for a few good laughs!

Here's my recent favorite political joke...

"John McCain is running for President!" Hahaha!

(You can use this one and insert whatever name you'd like!)

The tone of that last comment might sound a little more sassy than I would have liked, probably because of how angry I am about the ECU game.

So as a sign of friendship, and as a peace offering, I give you my favorite Obama joke (which you've probably heard):

A soldier returning from Iraq met Chelsea Clinton in the airport. As she talked to him about his many near death experiences Chelsea gasped and asked "well weren't you ever scared?"

The brave soldier replied. "There's only 3 things I'm scared of: Osama, Obama, and yo momma."
